On Thursday, May 7th and Friday May 8th, the Radio Trailblazers hosted a Speed Mentoring event at Canadian Music Week. Delegates and aspiring media professionals were able to sit down with industry veterans for quick bursts of mentorship. Below are the photos, taken by Julisa Ly.
On Tuesday, May 5th the Radio Trailblazers hosted their annual Rosalie Award Cocktail Party at The Rosewater Room. It was a wonderful evening to celebrate the amazing contributions to women in radio made by Shushma Datt. The Radio Trailblazers would like to thank Cheryl Millett for these wonderful photographs!

Shushma Datt is one of the best known names and personalities within the South Asian community.
Recognized as a media pioneer and respected broadcaster, Shushma is President and CEO of i.t. Media Broadcasting, Western Canada’s largest South Asian media organization, with properties that include two radio stations and three television programs.
For the past 37 years, Shushma was and continues to be a powerful proponent of multiculturalism. The Radio Trailblazers committee is proud to recognize Shushma as the recipient of the 2015 Rosalie Award!
Radio Trailblazers is pleased to announce their latest initiative: The Speed Mentoring Event.
New this year, the Speed Mentoring Event takes place during Canadian Music Week, May 7th and 8th, 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Toronto.
The event will match upwards of 40 senior Broadcast leaders from all disciplines with individuals who are keen to launch or advance their career in the radio industry. Each mentee will have a private meeting with an industry leader.
Sessions are held on Thursday May 7th and Friday May 8th from 9:00 am to 10:10 am, and again from 10:20 am to 11:30 am, just outside the main ballrooms at The Sheraton Hotel, 123 Queen Street West, Toronto.
